Splashdown Outfitters is located in the heart of the Prairie. We are 30 minutes East of the Ft. Cobb Wildlife Refuge, and 30 minutes North East of the Oldest Mountain Range in North American, (Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge) as well as the oldest Wildlife Preserve in The United States.

The Splashdown Experience

Oklahoma is one of the largest waterfowl wintering areas South of the Dakotas. Our waterfowl hunting areas consist of prairie potholes, lakes, small rivers and both flooded and dry croplands.

Our hunters enjoy a mixed bag of pintails, mallards, gadwalls, blue and green winged teal, shovelers, bluebills, ringnecks, redheads, wood ducks, widgeon, giant Canada, White Fronts, Snow, Blue and Ross Geese. We offer hunts of a Lifetime. Peak estimates last season for Ducks were 80,000 plus....mainly mallard followed by Geese 200,000 mostly Canadian.

A typical day in the field begins with a brief meeting to cover safe waterfowling practices and firearms handling. Then you will be transported to the hunting area selected by experienced guides, based on our knowledge of local habitat, weather conditions and surrounding hunting pressure, to ensure plenty of opportunities for a successful outing. Hunt over our professionally trained dogs or, if you prefer, bring your own hunting companion.

Decoys, Lodging, and Field and Airport transportation will be provided by SplashDown Outfitters. We will hunt from final approach, permanent blinds, pits or small watercraft. We recommend that you bring waders, waterproof gear suitable for cold weather mornings and lighter gear for warmer fall afternoons. 100% camouflage enforced.
