We start hearing birds right off the roost and put them in your face. It's quite simply the greatest show on earth. SDO offers a wide variety of hunts in diverse habitat conditions from wheat fields, grass lands, mixed forests, deep canyons to Cottonwood groves on the rivers and streams.
These hunts are conducted on large private ranches with very limited hunting pressure. There are an extraordinary amount of Rio Grande turkeys on these ranches and hunters will have no problem getting into birds. Each hunter has a large area to hunt and camp size is kept to one group to insure a quality experience.
